when we went to devon

4th July 2014
Hello! HAPPY 4th OF JULY IF YOU’RE FROM THE US-of-A! 🙂

*I’m sorry for the super heavy photo post but I thought I’d share a million a couple of snaps of our long weekend in Devon a few weeks ago. 🙂 We were SUPER lucky with the weather, honestly, it was beautiful. If you ever go to Devon, I’d highly recommend Dawlish, it’s so clean, the people are nice and it’s quiet… if that’s what you’re looking for!*

We found a snazzy little shop selling the most incredible flavours, I managed to have bubblegum, turkish delight and rum and raisin, yum!

I love an ‘ol claw machine… I tried so hard to get Isla a Minion but the claws were so flimsy, what a fail!

We spent the afternoon at Paignton Zoo. I’ve been there before and loved it. Isla loved the elephant, an animal she already has a fascination with, and shyly kept making little elephant noises on my shoulder! Like I said, the weather was incredible; not unbearably hot either, just the right temperature.

We managed to go to Torquay for dinner one evening too. My BFF Sian recommended we go to Tiger Bills, a chain restaurant also found in Birmingham and Exeter… I really wish I had enough memory on my camera to have taken pictures but the food was  a m a z i n g. I did pop a picture on my Instagram, though! Adam has the biggest burger, filled with chicken AND beef and I had king prawn fajitas, and I honestly don’t know if anything better will pass my mouth ever again! We highly recommend it. 🙂 I hope you liked the pictures!
