Closing 2014

31st December 2014

So, the last post of 2014.
In some cases, this year has been horrendous for personal reasons, but looking at it with a glass half full perspective, it has truly been amazing. I have grown SO much as a person this year, and that’s shown nowhere near as much as where my career is concerned. My confidence has skyrocketed (IMO) in comparison to what it was like in 2013 and I can now ask for things without feeling the need to apologise. That might seem small to you, but to me, it’s huge.

Here are a couple of things that have happened this year:

-I began the year with the most amazing man and have not looked back since.
-We went on our first little holiday this year.
-Isla turned 2 and started nursery.
-I started blogging and YT-ing again!
-I got a promotion at work, and so did Adam!
-One of my best school friends got married.
-I met one of my best, best friends & cannot thank her enough for being there for me.

Looking forward, I’m so excited for what 2015 has in store for me. I don’t think setting resolutions really work, and instead, I’m looking ahead to what incredible things the year already has to offer. I look forward to our one year anniversary, Isla starting pre-school, our holiday to Thailand, moving out, excelling in my job and so much more.

Ultimately, my aim for 2015 is to be happy; and yes, I know that’s so cliché but it’s true. I’m more than aware that there will be bumps in the road but I’m so ready to take it all in my stride.

-Here are a couple of photos from my little life-

I hope you all had an amazing 2014. Happy New Year. (:
