So last week I popped along to meet my lovely blogger friend Megan for a bite to eat & a catch up. I’ve not seen her since I interned in London many moons ago and to tell you the truth, there was a lot to catch up on. We chatted life, blogging, work and it was so nice to just open up y’know? Turns out we had a lot more in common than we first thought, too.
I had a few work bits to get through & whilst we browsed the rails of a very small Topshop, I quizzed Meg on the ever popular Olympus Pen camera everyone has been raving on about (in the most positive way, because I’ve just popped my Canon up for sale to buy one of these badboys). I think Meg was probably one of the first to have one, to my knowledge at least – I probably don’t read enough! But she offered to take a few snaps of me, which was super generous, and although I can’t safely say my outfit wasn’t completely on point, it felt so good to be stood in front of the camera again.
I have to say, I’m so pleased with how these came out (thank you Loggy!), and it’s safe to say I’ll be scraping my pennies together to get one of these cameras!!
I’ve gone on and on about this shirt, but it really is my favourite at the moment. If I’m totally stuck on what to wear, I know I can just grab this one and feel decent. I also get a lot of questions about my shoes. They’re from Office and despite the hefty price tag (IMO), they are my favourite too. A lovely nude shade with a white sole – it goes with any outfit I struggle to find shoes for; perfect!
Having spoken about all things blog related for quite some time, I came to the conclusion that yes, I seriously need to blog more. I miss it – being able to post consistently and despite whatever else, just enjoying writing and sharing content that I want to write about.
It’s weird, this blogging lark. You often get so sucked under a wave of ‘what is trendy to write about now’ and what I admire about Meg is that she genuinely just posts what she wants to talk about, and I’m so inspired by that. I’m so proud of how well she’s done and it sort of spurs me on to try and get fun content out too (although this probably isn’t too fun!), but regardless, I’m quite enjoying waffling on here.
I’ve got a LOT to share with you guys, and I’m definitely branching out to Youtube a lot more now, I really enjoy that too. So stay tuned. (:
