A New Year’s Walk

3rd January 2016

Jumper – Primark | Leggings – Primark | Beanie – Primark | Wellies – Hunters | Bag – Zara

Adam and I saw the New Year in sitting on the sofa, with wine, crisps and M&Ms, watching a countdown. It was chilled and I honestly wouldn’t have had it any other way. The 1st of January was spent equally as relaxed with a walk around Pateley Bridge and a huge roast that Adam treated us to. This place is beautiful. I’ll do a little photo diary when we’re back but I just wanted to share this quick look with you guys.

Extremely basic and cosy, I paired it with my tan coat that I found in the Primark sale for £15, an absolute steal (keep an eye out for a little post with this beauty in the near future)!

Although this jumper is the cutest, it does shed a little bit which is disappointing but aside from that, it’s the perfect cream knit. I picked up the cosiest pair of leggings with an inner velvet lining that has kept me warm for the whole of our stay here, which has been helpful because staying in a little cottage that used to be stables has taught me that it’s a bit chilly up here!

I’ve never owned a proper pair of wellies before, and so treated myself and Isla to a pair of Hunters prior to our trip. They’re so unbelievably comfortable, and it’s definitely encouraged me to go on more walks to make the price tag’s sting a little less painful!

I’ve popped up yet another Style Snippet featuring this look too! I hope you all had a wonderful time entering the New Year, and I can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store!
