So I’m back with another quick little outfit post of a look I wore over the bank holiday weekend. It was pretty quiet, and I decided to take a bit of a break, because it was so needed! Isla was my little shadow all weekend (mainly because I think she’s getting a cold, boo), but I loved it, so we spent most of it snuggled under blankets whilst she watched Show Me Show Me and I binged Bates Motel (I’m going to be doing a little post on favourite TV series – keep a look out).
Anyway, onto the outfit – I love the 70’s vibe that this look gives. The t-shirt is just adorable (lol, I never thought I’d ever use that word), and such a steal at only £15?! The quality is great too, so I’m super impressed Topshop, well done. Everyone was going crazy for their little tees, and now I know why! If you’re looking for one, I’d definitely recommend Toppers for your basic and/or slogan t-shirts.
Speaking of the ol’ Topperooni, I’m on a huge Topshop hype at the moment, and everything I set my eyes on is just beautiful, so you can expect to see a lot more pieces from them on this here blog. But seriously, I’ve been wearing these jeans non stop (I’ll be getting another pair soon), and the blue is just the perfect shade to pair with the tee. ALONG WITH THESE PRIMARK SUNGLASSES…
You know those ‘My Girl’ Quay sunnies that everyone went mad for a couple of summers back? Yeah. Primark have created a dupe. In tortoise shell, and black. For £3. Three, British, pounds. And they’re pretty decent quality as far as sunglasses go. They’ll be permanently attached to my face for the forseeeable future and I’m pretty sure I’ll have to pick up the black pair too. What do you think?
As I said, I’m loving the subtle 70’s vibe this outfit is giving. I’m not overly keen on that decade in general on ME (on everyone else I think it looks friggen awesome), and my love to colour isn’t ALL there… but I’m trying to work it into my wardrobe a little more, particularly because it’s getting a bit warmer, and colour is fun! I like being fun. (:
