I wanted to arrange a shoot whilst Casey was still super tiny but then we were dropped into Lockdown 2.0. I've felt so crap over the last few days because of it all, and needed to try and get myself out of the funk somehow.

Deleting Twitter aka the app of horrendous-and-overwhelming-news-all-the-time, and taking time to do this definitely did the job.

They're perfectly imperfect and I love them, but I love these three even more. 🧡

Hopefully we'll get some done in the new year but these will look great hung up in this room.

2 months old already my littlest love, and the fas

2 months old already my littlest love, and the fastest two months of my life.

He gives us the biggest smiles in the morning, loves to watch us when we walk around and is starting to get so chatty - he is a huge fan of a morning conversation!

He loves the warm and hates the cold (definitely gets that from me), is still a super greedy little thing, listens intently when we read him his bedtime story book and loves his sleep.

You've already changed so much already kiddo, what will you be like over the next month?

I'm feel so content at the moment, despite life th

I'm feel so content at the moment, despite life throwing huge spanners in the works.

I can't help but worry that my mat leave will be spent indoors and like many mummas right now, it's disheartening when the plans you made in your head, when you were pregnant go right out the window, isn't it?

We wanted to start swimming with Casey this week, which won't be happening for a while now and the baby sensory classes are on Zoom for the next month - in all honesty, my want for some face to face company was the main reason for booking those, it's just a bonus that Casey loves it too.

It is what it is though and even with it all going a bit pear-shaped, I get to have a whole year with my littlest love now and I plan on making the absolute most of it 💕

I wanted to arrange a shoot whilst Casey was still super tiny but then we were dropped into Lockdown 2.0. I've felt so crap over the last few days because of it all, and needed to try and get myself out of the funk somehow.
