My screamy poppet - 10-11 months old is the best and yet most stressful phase for me at the moment. ✨

Casey’s personality is shining through so much at the moment; he makes the funniest little faces when he gets shy, he’s so cheeky, and is so communicative with his actions, but also with his voice 🥴. The screaming guys… it’s really starting to a get a bit much and there are no signs of it stopping. I know that it’s his way of speaking because he can’t just yet, but the ringing in my ears at the end of each day is a lot. I think he’s going through a growth spurt too because he gets through so much food and I don’t know whether I’m over feeding him?!?

Parenting is so difficult at the best of times but right now, there’s a lot of googling happening and hoping that I’m doing the right thing. Mum guilt is so annoying and I’d just like him to tell me I’m doing an OK job because I am trying 🥴🥲!

HI! My name’s Tami - I’m a mum of 2 to Isla who is 9 and is autistic, and Casey who is 10 months old! I am originally from South Africa, but I’ve lived in the UK since I was 9. I got made redundant from my marketing job in October, which was the push I needed to apply for become a primary school teacher and I start my course in September!

10 months of our little whirlwind! 💕 This month

10 months of our little whirlwind! 💕
This month he finally entered Club Crawl and my god, he’s getting into everything! Still loves food, more than ever actually, but has started making it known when he’s not keen on something (mainly egg, except boiled, and Greek yogurt, as of this morning). Loves his books, Hey Bear and hitting his sister’s iPad! ALSO LOOK AT THOSE TEEF! 🥰
We’re a bit late on the sleep regression, but it’s definitely reared its ugly head and he’s slowly getting more comfortable with being with other people!
He is non stop right now, but generally such a happy baby. I can’t believe I’ve got two months left of Mat Leave and he’s nearly a year old! Should probably get him some bigger socks… 😂

My screamy poppet - 10-11 months old is the best and yet most stressful phase for me at the moment. ✨

Casey’s personality is shining through so much at the moment; he makes the funniest little faces when he gets shy, he’s so cheeky, and is so communicative with his actions, but also with his voice 🥴. The screaming guys… it’s really starting to a get a bit much and there are no signs of it stopping. I know that it’s his way of speaking because he can’t just yet, but the ringing in my ears at the end of each day is a lot. I think he’s going through a growth spurt too because he gets through so much food and I don’t know whether I’m over feeding him?!?

10 months of our little whirlwind! 💕
This month he finally entered Club Crawl and my god, he’s getting into everything! Still loves food, more than ever actually, but has started making it known when he’s not keen on something (mainly egg, except boiled, and Greek yogurt, as of this morning). Loves his books, Hey Bear and hitting his sister’s iPad! ALSO LOOK AT THOSE TEEF! 🥰
We’re a bit late on the sleep regression, but it’s definitely reared its ugly head and he’s slowly getting more comfortable with being with other people!
He is non stop right now, but generally such a happy baby. I can’t believe I’ve got two months left of Mat Leave and he’s nearly a year old! Should probably get him some bigger socks… 😂
