The nursery is coming together so nicely, we love it so much. Once Isla's bits are out, I'll share more but this is my favourite area 🤎 - the majority of these were hers. They weren't of much interest to her so I decided they'd be a welcome addition to Casey's room.

If I get time over the next few weeks, I'll finish the vlog of it all because I feel like I've been documenting it for the entirety of lockdown! The editing of it... Well, we'll see when that gets done! 😂

Nearly #2weekspostpartum and slowly starting to feel human again. I've taken it really easy since Casey was born and couldn't be more grateful for having such an amazing support system in place to allow me to do so. 🤍

My outfits have also just consisted of oversized tees, cycling shorts and leggings - I've got a new pair of jeans winging their way to me because my Farleigh's will not go over my new, wide hips! I can't lie, it made me sad but I'm trying to remember I JUST had a baby and need to be kinder to myself. 🤍

(Also yes, that's a Feast in my hand 🌚)

HELLO WORLD! 🤎
Casey Asher Martin Brown made a SUPER speedy entrance into the world on the 7th September at 11.36am and weighing 7lb9oz - although none of it was what we expected at ALL, i honestly couldn't have wished for a better birth and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Our first few days have been a blur of sleepless nights, feeding and the best cuddles. His little milk drunk expressions are identical to Isla's, who has been watching on with curiosity 🤍.

We're absolutely besotted with him.

Last week, we set the camera up in the garden, hung a sheet and took some shots.

I am by no means a photographer, that's for sure, but we're really happy with the way these turned out.

Hello! #40weekspregnant - we've made it to due date! I have to be honest, we all thought he'd be here by now!

I've had awful backache this week, most likely muscular, that has really affected my emotions and quality of sleep. I think because he's been on one side of my belly pretty much the entirety of the pregnancy, it's started to take its toll on me.

Regardless, I actually feel really good! I feel happy, excited and it blows my mind that within the next two weeks, we will actually have a baby!?

Adam has been amazing and did the deep clean of the house yesterday. Although I'm well aware it won't stay that way and our room will be filled with everything baby related soon, I finally feel like we're ready to go!

Hurry up my little love, we'd like to meet you now! 🤎

(I also managed to bag an Instax camera on Facebook for £30 this week and man am I happy about having that before he arrives!! 🥰)

We didn't get the chance to do a maternity shoot, which I would've liked, so I set my camera up in the garden to shoot some photos with Adam (plus these!) - I'll share some soon because I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

On Sunday, we made it to #39weekspregnant! I think it's pretty clear that baby's dropped now, fanny daggers really is a thing guys 😂, and I am more tired than ever. If I do more than make the bed at the moment, I start to get Braxton Hicks so I'm trying to take it easy.

I SOMEHOW managed to paint my toenails and pluck my eyebrows over this week too - nothing to do with the birth but I felt a bit more ME afterwards y'know?

Now it's September (seriously, can you believe we're swiftly heading into Autumn cosiness?!), our room is near enough finished and my bags are packed. I was so worried he'd come super early but we made it!

Could this be our last pregnancy update photo!? We're ready when you are now, kiddo. 🧡

It might sound sad but when I found out we were having a baby, one of the first things I wanted to do on one our days out was to get a cute photo booth picture of us and bump to remember it by. As you can imagine I was so disappointed when we couldn't, so I'm pretty glad @wishwishwish released a filter that meant we could do it in our back garden 😂

I look super washed out but hey - we've made it to

I look super washed out but hey - we've made it to #38weekspregnant! 🍉

He's dropped, and everyone but me can see it 😂 I do have a bit more space to breathe now though so that's nice. This week, I've really struggled with anxiety around after he's born - more physical recovery for myself and protecting him really - I knew that feeling would really get to me though! Headaches, backache and the fatigue has hit me like a tonne of bricks as well! You should see me try and climb the stairs. 🌚

Good thing is that we'll have our room back this week (cutting it so fine haha)! I still just want cold, refreshing things, and my sweet tooth is absolutely out of CONTROL too! Seriously, chocolate, ice cream, sour gummy worms!

I just want to spend the next two weeks making the most of it being the three of us. My maternity leave officially starts tomorrow, and I think it's all getting very real - whilst I'm so so excited, I just want to soak that all in first.
