So if you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that Adam and I FINALLY had our holiday to Thailand last week – I’m not going to lie, it was incredible, like beyond amazing… but I’ll talk about that in a separate post this weekend (just a small warning, it’s probably gonna be a big one!).
I just thought I’d do a small post about one of the 5 million bikinis that I lugged along, as well as my absolute favourite cover up right now; all from Primark. I freaking love that shop, albeit some of the tacky bits they’re selling at the moment (it is Primark afterall, and everywhere does this every S/S), their summer picks are so on point.
I think I paid about £3-£4 for bikini, the print of which I LOVE as well – who doesn’t love the palm leaves (I can’t actually remember if they were separates, but if they were, it’s so inexpensive and so worth purchasing)!? For the crochet cover up, I believe it was around £8. As for the shoes, I’m pretty certain they were only £5, and I wore them every single day, without fail – the perfect pool shoe, I have to say!
I would 100% say, if you’re off on holiday in the next couple of months, Primark NEEDS to be your go-to shop for bits like this, they’re so cheap and fit so nicely. I haven’t had any issues with the pieces I’ve bought, and I’ll definitely be wearing it all again next year.
Shout out to my lovely boyfriend for his patience when taking these by the way, because I have to say, posting photos of myself in a freaking bikini after having a baby is genuinely terrifying. I have such a complex about my belly button (even people at work know about this), but as ridiculous as it sounds, going to the gym religiously and eating super well really gave me the confidence to traipse around the beach like this. I know I’m incredibly lucky in regards to stretch marks and stuff, but self esteem really is different for everyone.
If you’re going on holiday soon, I AM UTTERLY JEALOUS, have an incredible time and rock your swimwear you sassy babes!!!
